Internet Access

Zion National Park, Utah, is a spectacular location to visit in the southern area of the state. It is an area of intense beauty and historic wonders, but for those wishing to access the Internet, many regions within the park only supply limited access from some of its many hotels, motels and campgrounds. However, despite this the best access can be gained from taking a quick stop in nearby Cedar City or the town of Kanab for both computer broadband and Wi-Fi access.

When planning a trip to Zion National Park, Internet access can be a challenge, especially in the wilder areas of the park. However, many lodgings do have broadband and Wi-Fi access, though broadband is far more reliable. For those who have laptops, the best Wi-Fi access is found outside of the park in the surrounding communities. Hurricane, St. George and Washington all have local libraries with both computer broadband and Wi-Fi access. However, the communities of Cedar City and Kanab have varied locations for free Wi-Fi access that are more accessible.

Cedar City is just north of Zion National Park. Free Wi-Fi access is available through The Grind Coffee House, located at 19 North Main, and Lighthouse Coffee, located at 1322 Providence Center Drive. Kanab has only one location at the McDonald's at 159 East 300 Street, near the crossroads with US Highway 89 South, but the immediate area is a major Wi-Fi hotspot.
