For an economical and fun-filled vacation, you may want to take advantage of all the camping opportunities in and around Zion National Park. If you prefer to camp with the use of a tent or just camp out of the back of your car, you'll be able to find restrooms, showers and laundry facilities for your use. Many of the private and public campgrounds have their own facilities, and others can be found in the various nearby towns.
Inside Zion National Park, you can find coin-operated shower and laundry facilities within one mile of each of the two campgrounds located within the Park – South Campground and Watchman Campground. The South Campground is open year round and Watchman Campground is open from March 15 to November 1 each year.
Other options for finding a soothing, rejuvenating hot shower is at public and private campgrounds in the surrounding area. For a small fee, backpackers, hikers, mountain bikers and those who are camping in a tent or in a car can treat themselves to a hot shower. In addition to the various private and public campgrounds, some local businesses are sources for showers. Check out the local hostels, swim centers, health clubs, etc. You can find several coin-operated laundromats in town and at the various campgrounds.
