Overview: First Night Celebration has been a premier St. George holiday event for nearly a decade. Organizers established the festivities in order to strengthen community ties and keep neighborly traditions alive. Revelers are invited to rediscover the city and celebrate the New Year with local and regional arts community. This alcohol-free event creates a safe environment for people of all ages to enjoy First Night.

Each year, First Night is held in or around New Year's Eve, depending on what day of the week the holiday falls. Patrons gain access to all of the events by purchasing a St. George First Night wristband or button. Discounts are given for advance purchases and for children 11 and younger.
