Lions Dixie Roundup Rodeo

The annual Lion's Dixie Roundup Rodeo showcases world-class professional rodeo cowboys, who demonstrate their bronc-busting and wrangling skills in St. George, Utah on the second weekend of each September. Held at the grass-turf Sunbowl Stadium, the Dixie Roundup is truly an event for all ages.

Gates open and tic is "kid night" - children 11 and under are free with a paying adult
Friday is "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" 
Saturday  is the "Rodeo Breakfast" benefiting the Washington County School District Foundation, the "High Noon" Special Needs Rodeo and the final night of the rodeo

Overview: Sponsored by the St. George Lion's Club, the Dixie Roundup Rodeo embraces southern Utah's agricultural and ranching heritage. The Roundup is approved by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association, which helps the rodeo attract the most-skilled and competitive cowboys. Because of the involvement of the Lion's Club, there is always a charitable element to the rodeo, with funds going to causes such as breast cancer awareness.

Details: The Roundup features not only traditional rodeo events, but also a Dixie Roundup Pageant, western dances, live music, as well as a parade through downtown. For the little cowpokes, there are also kids' rodeo events and a special children's parade.

Children under 11 can get discounted tickets and may qualify for free admission depending on the night of attendance. The Lion's Dixie Sunbowl is located at 100 S and 400 E St.
