St. George Marathon
Accolades for the St. George Marathon just keep pouring in. Chosen as a "Marathon to Build a Vacation Around" and one of the "10 Most Scenic and Fastest Marathons" by Runner's World, this race is just can't be beat! Winding through gorgeous southwest Utah, the St. George Marathon is a much anticipated competition for top-form runners.

An annual marathon race through the scenic area of St George. Most runners are randomly picked by a lottery system becasue this is such a popular event. Coem support your runners as they cross the finish line.
The 26 mile, 385 yard marathon begins in Pine Valley, near Central, Utah. The race stretches along SR-18 through Veyo, Dammeron Valley, Diamond Valley, and Snow Canyon State Park, and finishes at Worthern Park in downtown St. George. The altitude shifts from 5243 to 2678 feet.
Because the event is held in October, runners will enjoy mild temperature that range from 38-44 degrees (F) in the morning to 65-85 at the race's finish. Racers vie for awards in multiple categories such as Overall, Master, Wheelchair, Hand-cycling, Silver Shoe, and Corporate Challenge. There is a cap of 6800 participants, so early registration is recommended. All runners must be able to complete the marathon is less than six hours.
The St. George Marathon is sanctioned by USA Track and Field and is considered on of the top 20 marathons nationwide.
