Sears Art Gallery & Museum

The museum is located in St. George Utah and it displays myriad art forms by artists from Southern Utah. The museum is located in the Dolores Doré Eccles Fine Arts Center at Dixie State College. Visit the museum to see the works of some eminent artists. The themes include portraitures, spiritual paintings, western scenes and historical subjects.

Works by eminent artists like Greg Thorkleson, Joseph Alleman, Julie Rogers, Leon Parson, Glen Edwards, Barbara Edwards, A.D. Shaw, Greg Olsen, Ben Sowards, Liz Swindle, Del Parson, Glen Hopkinson, Michael Malm, Sam Lawlor, Kathleen Peterson, Dan Lewis, David Koch and Patty Bingham are displayed at the Sears Art Gallery & Museum.

The art gallery also hosts exhibitions giving young artists from all over Utah a platform to showcase their talent. Different kinds of art forms are exhibited here including representational art like landscapes, portraits, sculptures, potteries and oils on linen. A few of the art forms that are displayed at these shows are even for sale, thus providing the artists an avenue to earn revenues and fund their creative talents.

The shows organized by the Sears Art Gallery & Museum have been hugely successful. Moreover eminent artists have also supported the endeavors of the gallery by acting as patrons. The gallery remains open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
