McCarran International Airport is the closest major international airport to Zion National Park, at two and half hours away in Las Vegas, NV. International and domestic flights arrive daily at the airport's two terminals, which hold 95 aircraft gates and numerous retail shops and restaurants.
Las Vegas's McCarran airport is part of a five airport conglomerate that includes North Las Vegas Airport, Henderson Executive Airport, Jean Sport Aviation Center, and Overton/Perkins Field. Spanning more than 2800 acres, the airport houses fifty retail shops and nearly thirty restaurants, lounges, and snack bars. Some of the amenities that offered at the Las Vegas Airport include children's play area, fitness center, massage lounge, arcade, art gallery, aviation museum, and shoeshine booths.
About forty different airlines service McCarran, including international, regional, and budget airlines. A variety of parking options, such as valet, long-term, and short-term, are available at reasonable rates. Most local car rental agencies and hotels run shuttle buses that can be arranged at ground transportation.
