Behunin Canyon

Zion Canyons //
Behunin Canyon, found west of Mount majestic, is a tall, wide canyon that feeds into Middle Emerald Pool. This technical route requires canyoneering gear, several long rappels and some down climbing and wading. While it may not be considered a true slot canyon by many, this canyon is still very popular. The initial long rappels are especially beautiful. Behunin Canyon is named after Isaac Behunin, a Utah Pioneer who originally settled in and named Zion Canyon.
