Zion Canyons //
Refrigerator Canyon can be found near Behunin Canyon and Angel's Landing, and can be linked to a number of other scenic spots in the West Rim area, such as Angel's Landing, Scout Lookout and Cabin Spring. While there are no technical obstacles, Refrigerator Canyon is a beautiful and scenic hike that serves as a great way to access other parts of Zion.
On hot summer days in Zion, Refrigerator Canyon provides visitors with a great place to escape the heat and relax in the cool breezes that flow through the canyon and the shadows cast by the canyon walls. Plants and small animals can be found throughout the canyon, and larger animals, such as mountain goats, can sometimes be seen along the canyon rim. If you can catch the canyon at the right time, usually during the afternoon, reflected sunlight creates a remarkable glowing aura on the canyon walls.
