Springdale, Utah has been named the gateway to Zion National Park. However, this friendly, charming little community is so much more. Surrounded by spectacular red desert landscape, Springdale has a variety of activities for individuals of all ages and an entertaining nightlife for everyone's tastes. An eclectic group of individuals visits Springdale each year – nearly three million – many from foreign and exotic lands.

Springdale, Utah is located in a very accommodating climate for all types of outdoor activities – having a hot summer and mild winter. Recreational activities include hiking, camping, mountain biking, riding ATVs, horseback riding, canyoneering in the many slot canyons and wildlife viewing. Don't worry about bringing your gear with you, as there are several companies in town that specialize in equipping people for outdoor adventure.

Other perhaps less strenuous activities include watching movies at the Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theatre. This 60 foot by 82 foot screen does project entertainment larger than life! Either before or after the movie, appease your appetite by enjoying a great meal at one of the various restaurants. Some of these establishments also offer live entertainment and many have bars.
