Tuacahn Amphitheatre
Situated in the awe-inspiring Padre canyons, Tuacahn Amphitheatre and Center for the Arts provides world-class family entertainment that will make any trip to Utah unforgettable. Tuacahn is just miles from St. George in Ivins, Utah. The performances seen here are guaranteed to be as moving as the towering red sandstone cliffs that surround to compound.
The shape of the wild and primitive canyon walls are well attuned for the musical and theatrical acoustics. The site was chosen by developers for its unparalleled natural beauty that would certainly inspire visitors and artists alike. Today, the 23 million dollar facility houses a 1920-seat outdoor amphitheatre, 330-seat indoor theater, dance studio, black-box theater, recital hall, costume and scene shop, studios, classrooms, and gift shop. This non-profit organization also manages Tuacahn High School, which has a prominent arts program.
Past performances have included the original outdoor musical UTAH! as well as Broadway favorites like Joseph and the Amazing Technical Dreamcoat and the King and I. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Kenny Rogers, the Osmond Brothers, and dozens of other world-renowned musicians have taken stage at Tuacahn.
